Example: Physical Attack

In Ovett, Mississippi, after their neighbors discovered that they are lesbians, Brenda and Wanda Henson received threats of violence ranging from intimidating phone calls, to nightly gunshots on or near their property, to discovering the body of a dead female puppy draped over their bullet-pierced mailbox.
